Weekly Astrology Forecast--Retrograde Venus Joins the Sun

This week we have no lunar event or planetary shift, but we do have the culmination of the "descent" of Retrograde Venus in Leo as she joins the Leo Sun. After this, she will begin to ascend once again.

I discuss this in the 34-minute podcast, and I question myself about whether or not she becomes a morning star, but it was true, when she reappears she will be as a morning star, seen on the horizon, rising before the Sun.

There are two goddesses with myths that take them into the underworld. One is Persephone, daughter of Demeter. The other is a Mesopotamian goddess, Inanna. She seems more like our Venus retrograde now and, interestingly, those who see the new film "Barbie" as a boon for women's rights and divine feminine consciousness have likened her to Inanna.
