Weekly Astrology Forecast--Pandemic Tech Problems
For several weeks there have been difficulties getting onto the site where I record podcasts. This weekend has been particularly problematic and I am guessing that this company has been hit with increased demand and possibly decreased ability to respond to customer issues. I know this is the signal for me to begin working in a different way and with a new computer now up and doing well, this new way will be undertaken soon.
For now, I'm resorting to written. I will hit the highlights and paint with broad strokes. For those who are on Facebook, detailed daily forecasts are available HERE.
The week beginning Monday, April 27th is spent in first and second lunar quarter. The Scorpio Full Moon arrives the following week. We have one planet shift this week and it is Mercury going into Taurus. Hotheaded, impulsive thinking and speaking tones down. In a fixed earth sign, Mercury is a big slow, pragmatic, conservative--not its normal mode. It could take longer to get your message across. And many thoughts and conversations will focus on the Taurus areas of personal finance, values, feeling about the self and body, possessions, home, garden, nature, food and other sensual pursuits. Mercury remains in Taurus until May 11th. And while in this sign, we have what we call a 'mutual reception' between Venus and Mercury as they are in each other's sign. More understanding is possible through this channel, which still includes the idea of love.
Both Gemini Moon and Cancer Moon (at 1:28 p.m. EDT) Make Monday an easy day to get things done and flow with changes. And Cancer Moon's trine to Neptune fills the day on Tuesday, exact at 3:12 a.m. on Wednesday. But for Mercury's square to Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 1:28 p.m. on Tuesday, which can be a strong difference of opinion and an obstacle to mundane matters, there is a gentleness and spiritual awareness available which can help smooth the way in interactions with family and loved ones.
Wednesday and Thursday are the days to be alert to challenges. First Cancer Moon opposes Pluto in Capricorn (now retrograde) until 12:01 p.m. Wednesday, and then Jupiter in Capricorn until 3:29 p.m.. This isn't the time to press for your needs or get emotional support. A void of course period for Cancer Moon follows and feelings can calm down. Moon enters Leo at 9:06 p.m. Wednesday and heads toward the opposition to Saturn in Aquarius, exact at 12:27 a.m. EDT on Thursday. Loyalty versus freedom, attention and affection versus aloof detachment.
Thursday continues in a fixed-sign challenge way for Leo Moon at it squares Mercury in Taurus at 6:46 a.m., then Uranus in Taurus at 9:21 a.m. (unhappy changes, financial differences) and the Sun in Taurus at 4:38 p.m.. Feelings and self-expression are out of sync. This square brings us into the 2nd quarter lunar phase which wants to get things done and pursues the methods and means to do so.
Fortunately, some ingenious "aha's" are available through Mercury's conjunction to Uranus in Taurus, exact at 11:41 p.m. and good connections, too, as Leo Moon goes sextile to Venus in Gemini for the evening and until 7:16 a.m. on Friday. Now you can have discussions that are helpful, affectionate, and cooperative. However, caution flags fly on Friday while Leo Moon opposes Mars in Aquarius until 12:04 p.m.. A passion for individuality and freedom is not giving Leo Moon the loyalty and adoration it requires. Arguments can erupt and someone goes their own way.
Leo Moon is void of course for the rest of Friday, which is May 1st and a day when Beltane is observed by those following the old agricultural (natural) calendar. We are in the ides of Taurus and the gateway to the summer is here. The blossoming time continues but emphasis goes on the ripening crops and birds may be sitting on nests now, getting ready to produce their babies. In a normal May, romance is highly enhanced. Not sure how that will be during this time of isolation for any but couples already living together...but who knows?
Moon enters Virgo at 1:35 a.m. on Saturday and goes into a trine with Uranus in Taurus until 1:19 p.m. Getting chores done, especially involving kitchen, bathroom, garden are well-aspected now. Moon's trine to Mercury in Taurus follows, allowing for helpful discussions and assistance with cooking, financial and other organization needs until the aspect is exact at 7:38 p.m.. Moon's trine to the Taurus Sun is the 'harmony of the lights' where feelings and identity are in tune and outer relationships flourish. This aspect completes at 11:40 p.m.
Sunday brings the Virgo Moon's square to Gemini Venus at 11:06 a.m. and the opposition to Neptune in Virgo at 11:22 a.m.. Differences in values make for uneasy moments and then it's time to beware the false advertising and faux news. Although Venus approaches the square to Neptune today and puts on a very rosy pair of glasses, presenting a view of fantasy instead of reality (exact at 11:52 p.m.), Moon in Virgo has two trines that appear to provide stability and organization. First the trine to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn until 7:01 p.m. makes this a great time to review, renovate or reconsider what outer world agreements or career changes have occurred since Pluto went direct last October.
Virgo Moon's trine to Jupiter in Capricorn at 10:25 p.m. gives us an optimistic outlook about how to proceed and now Moon is void of course until it enters Libra on Monday at 3:09 a.m..
The following week's Scorpio Full Moon is on the 7th, and Saturn slows to station Retrograde that weekend. Here's hoping I have a new way to do these forecasts by then.
