Unfortunately, the podcast program is still unavailable and I haven't found a substitute yet. I will give you a shorter synopsis of the week because there are two significant astronomical events this week: The Lunar Nodes shift to s. node Sagittarius, n. node Gemini and the Scorpio Full Moon arrives. Saturn also slows down for its station retrograde on Sunday. It's definitely a game-changer and the information about the Lunar Nodes is so important that I am going to do a specific piece on that. It takes place on Tuesday, the 5th.
Monday the 4th is one of the better days of the week as Libra Moon beings with a trine to Saturn in Aquarius at 6:15 a.m. Eastern (how does my energy affect my relationships and my own inner harmony) and goes on to a trine to Venus in Gemini until Tuesday at 12:23. The significance of this happening as the nodes shift will be explained in greater detail in the post on the nodes. For now, enjoy the enhanced ability to communicate in a loving way with others and the enjoyment it brings.
There is a bump in the road on Tuesday after this as Libra Moon squares Pluto in Capricorn until 7:05 p.m. bringing old events to the surface and the realization that some can't let go of their control issues. Shortly after, at 7:13 Libra Moon trines Mars in Aquarius with ideas about the future and how to allow people unique expression within partnerships.
The square from Libra Moon to Jupiter in Capricorn until 10:31 p.m. may have us going overboard and dealing with another attempt at maintaining the status quo.
Moon enters Scorpio at 3:05 a.m. on Wednesday and moves into a square to Saturn in Aquarius at 6:10 a.m. and on to an opposition to Uranus in Taurus at 2:31 p.m.. The fact that Mercury in Taurus is sextile Neptune (not exact until Thursday, at 6:42 a.m.) will help us rise above our own issues about survival and control in the face of uncertainty and a need to shift methods in mundane areas, including finance, food, home and values.
Scorpio Moon opposes Sun in Taurus, bringing the Full Moon in at 6:45 a.m. Thursday. This is the Buddha Moon and presents an opportunity for us to use our spiritual tools to receive messages that help us reconcile the polarity between preserve and transform, my money, possession, values, versus those of significant partners. Mercury's trine to Neptune comes in handy here, too, as does Moon's trine to Neptune at 11:40 a.m. which helps the mundane mind receive soft, psychic impressions and so deliver gentle communications. Venus in Gemini is conjunct the n node and doing the same. Stabilizing influences come from Moon's sextile to Pluto and Jupiter in Capricorn and Sun's trine to those planets. We can review structures and see new ways of incorporating both sides of the polarity to transform current methods into those that work better. Mars in Aquarius trine Venus in Gemini fuels positive thoughts and visions about the future, but Venus in Gemini's square to Neptune says we should check the details and not over idealize people or situations.
Moving through Thursday, Scorpio Moon's opposition to Mercury in Taurus from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. is not the time to speak about finances and values, and a better opportunity to do so comes during the sextile to retrograde Pluto until 7:03 p.m.. Anger may simmer while Scorpio Moon squares Mars in Aquarius and it's a matter of control and commitment versus a passion for independent expression until 9:33 p.m.. Good feelings return during Moon's sextile to Jupiter in Capricorn until 10:39 p.m..
Friday, Moon enters Sagittarius at 3:15 a.m. and has an early sextile to Saturn in Aquarius (6:27 a.m.) which gives us some sense of optimism and stability for the future as we go through the day. But this Moon is actually heading for the square to Neptune at 1:14 p.m. on Saturday, so don't bet on things on or sign on the dotted line Friday (or Saturday) morning.
Saturday after the Moon's Neptune square, Sag Moon opposes Venus in Gemini until 11:03 p.m. and we may get a taste of what the new nodes are bringing up for us to look at. And emotional attachment or instinctive attitude toward beliefs (Sag Moon) can block loving communication (Venus in Gemini).
Sag Moon has a better ride as it sextiles Mars in Aquarius until Sunday at 2:11 a.m.. Now we roam far and wide in ideas and enjoy humorous exchanges, too. If you can, get some physical activity into the picture...a walk or a run for those Aquarius calves and ankles will be appreciated. Or just turn on the music and dance-in-place.
Sunday Moon enters Capricorn at 5:39 a.m. bringing tradition and family into the feelings nature for the US holiday of Mother's Day. Mercury in Taurus trine Jupiter in Capricorn can find many receiving a floral or other message that brings delight until 10:36 a.m.. Thoughts are uplifted for everyone, too. Sun in Taurus sextiles Neptune at 12:16 p.m. and some will enjoy a sweet lunchtime, even if virtually in instead of in person as Moon is trine Uranus (of electronic media) in Taurus until 6:38 p.m..
Saturn station for retrograde in Aquarius at 12:09 a.m. on Monday (EDT) and those with Capricorn Sun and Ascendant may feel the slow-down, while we all look for a slowdown or 'return' to occur in the house that Capricorn rules in our chart. More on this and Venus' retrograde next week.
